Begrad Kranj, was founded in 1992 as a small family enterprise. The very beginning of the company goes back to 1978 when it was a transporter – Avtoprevozništvo Sodnik Niko s.p. The company employs 48 people. It is located in Kranj, where there are our concrete works, the separation unit, the parking lot for our farries, the garage, the warehouse and the store with building materials.

The main activity of the company is transport within the country and abroad. We have 40 vehicles at our disposal for the purpose. Our road vehicles are permanently present in the whole  of the EU and Croatia. The stock of vehicles is most diverse: usual  trucks, volume vehicles, vehicles with a groove, long trailer vehicles, road tankers for sands freight, dump trucks of different volume, dump trailer vehicles of different volume, combined dump trucks for transport of palette goods or sands freight as well as trailer vehicles for special conveyance. Our vehicles meet all up-to-date ecological requirements. While some of them are EURO-3, most are EURO-4 and some are even the most modern EURO-5 vehicles.

The second most important activity is production of concrete. Our concrete works comprises a modern plat of separation unit and a two-cubic concrete unit heated during wintertime. We produce concrete of diffrent quality and transport it as well as build it in by means of mobile concrete – mixers and pumps; the build in length up to 28m.

In 2004, we opened a store selling construction meterials. Our stock comprises most everything needed for construction – from the ground to the roof; cement, mortar, iron brace ond stays, brick, paving items, different products made of concrete, various plumbing and installation items. Our customers get their goods delivered by our vehicles equipped with a lifting engine.

The company is oriented towards its constant progress and is highly pro ecological.
